Diane Ellis and Family

Where do we begin?

Mary was a great neighbor but she was more than that to our family...she was one of us! I have known her for over 25 years...and what great years they were. Mary and Dave would have a mowing race to see who could get thier yard done the quickest...she was very fast back then. She was the first person my kids would run too, she only needed to go outside and off they went. That could have been because she always hide pringles in her stove. Matthew would sit for hours and talk with her about the squirrels...I think she enjoyed it as much as he did. It was a shock when we found out she was moving. I made sure that I brought her back to the neighborhood as much as I could. We loved sitting out in the back...we just giggled! Mary never lost her sense or humor...she really taught me a lot of things. She was aslways with us on Holidays which were spent with my family and Daves family....she was one of us. One holiday she was unable to attend...boy, everyone thought I did something. Well that was the last time for that!
I will...or should I say we will never forget her...I smile just thinking about all the time we spent talking. She was really upset about not seeing as well as she used to, she really missed her reading. Well ,now she can see, she can walk well, and I'm sure that she was welcomed into heaven.

We enjoyed her and truly felt like she was our family...she will alsways be that to us!
